The Top Methanol Funny Car's were just a few minutes away from running the final round when a really heavy rain started falling. It will probably take a long time before the track is dry enough to run on.

Ulf won the semifinal round against Dan Larsen with a 5.772s/395.3kmh vs 5.827s/395.3kmh. Ulf will meet Leif Andreasson in the final.

Ulf had a bye-run and ran 6.567s/ 236.7kmh. The car left the line good, but Ulf lifted at half track when the car started to bounce around a bit. He will meet Dan Larsen in the next round.

The third round of qualifying for Top Methanol Funny Car just completed. We were not part of it since we found that our crankshaft had become a bit damaged after the previous round. We are still No.1 qualifier though and the crankshaft is fixed, so it looks promising for tomorrow.

We are scheduled to run one more qualifying round today, but it's hard to say exactly when. At least a couple of hours away is a guess.

Finally we got it! Ulf put out a 5.859s/390.9kmh just 5 minutes ago. He is now No.1 qualifier.

The lost fire yesterday were caused by an ignition problem.

The first qualifying round in Top Methanol Funny Car just took place. Ulf's car lost fire directly on the starting line!
Leif Andreasson is No.1 qualifier with 5.95s.

The raining has held up for quite a time now, and the track crew has been working really hard to dry the track, so hopefully we can soon be able to run for the first time today.

Some dark clouds are covering the sky, and small showers of rain are falling now and then. This delays the whole qualifying schedule, so we are still waiting to run our first qualifying session....

We are at the race track and have everything set up and ready to go. There is however no qualifying scheduled today (friday) for the Pro-classes, so we spend the time with maintenance on the car and so on.
